Our standards
We follow Google’s E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness). Content is written and reviewed to be accurate, current, and useful for foreign patients in China.
This site is led and written by Karl Huang, a China-based medical coordination professional with training in health management and patient navigation. Karl has worked with international patients seeking care in Chinese tertiary hospitals and oversees the medical content published here. Where a topic requires clinical nuance, content is reviewed against official hospital and regulatory sources before publication.
How we research
- We describe real hospital systems, processes, and documents as they generally work in China.
- We label well-known hospitals as examples, not endorsements.
- We cite official sources where practical and avoid unverified claims.
YMYL and medical topics
Because healthcare is a Your-Money-Your-Life topic, we avoid medical advice, diagnoses, and outcome promises. Costs are framed as estimates; final costs are determined by the hospital. Where assisted reproduction, stem-cell, or other regulated topics are covered, we state applicable legal limits (for example, assisted reproduction in China is available only to legally married couples and commercial surrogacy is illegal).
Conflicts of interest
We disclose our affiliation with Zhong’an Kanghua (中安康华) wherever relevant. Disclosure does not imply endorsement.
Medical review process
Medical and procedural content is reviewed for accuracy against publicly available hospital information, Chinese regulatory guidance, and standard clinical practice before it is published, and is revisited when guidance changes. We are an informational and coordination resource, not a hospital; we do not provide diagnosis or treatment, and readers should confirm all medical decisions with their licensed physicians.
